| Description | This high
performance brush and roller cleaner thoroughly dissolves dried paint
and softens bristles, restoring old brushes and roller covers or frames
to good, usable condition.
|
| Prominent Features |
|
| Uses | Cleans and
reconditions old, hard brushes and rollers. Softens and restores old natural bristle brushes.
|
| Limitations | Do NOT use on
"throw away" roller covers or roller covers or frames with old
hardened paint.
|
| Application | Carefully read
all cautions and instructions before use. Protect hands with
solvent-resistant gloves, and eyes with safety glasses. Open can slowly
to relieve pressure. To recondition hard brushes: Place brush in metal
can such as a coffee can and cover bristles with Brush Cleaner up to the
metal ferrule. Soak several hours or overnight until paint is softened.
Occasionally agitate brush in cleaner to speed the softening process,
and keep container covered with aluminum foil to slow evaporation. After
paint has softened, remove residual paint from heel of brush, using a
brush, comb or metal fork. As a final cleaning step, agitate the brush
in a small amount of fresh Brush Cleaner, then remove brush and lay it
on newspapers. Scraping away from the ferrule, press out excess cleaner
using a flat scraper. Follow by washing the brush thoroughly in warm
soapy water, followed by a rinse of clean water until the bristles are
no longer sticky. Do not use hot water. To store the brush, wrap it in
heavy paper to preserve its original shape, and lay flat to dry. To
clean brushes and roller covers with fresh paint: Agitate them in Brush
Cleaner immediately after use, then follow the cleaning and storage
procedures described above.

cancer. DANGER! EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE.
KEEP AWAY FROM HEAT, SPARKS, FLAME AND ALL OTHER SOURCES OF IGNITION.
VAPORS MAY CAUSE FLASH FIRE OR IGNITE EXPLOSIVELY. Do not smoke.
Extinguish all flames and pilot lights, and turn off stoves, heaters,
electric motors and all other sources of ignition during use and until
all vapors are gone. Beware of static electricity that may be generated
by synthetic clothing and other sources. Whenever possible, use outdoors
in open air area. Do not use in areas where vapors can accumulate and
concentrate such as basements, bathrooms or small enclosed areas. USE
ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION TO PREVENT BUILDUP OF VAPORS. Open all
windows and doors. Use only with a cross ventilation of moving fresh air
across the work area. If strong odor is noticed or you experience slight
dizziness, headache, nausea or eye-watering - STOP - ventilation is
inadequate. Leave area immediately. DANGER! May be harmful or fatal if swallowed. Vapor harmful. Skin and eye irritant. Contains
Petroleum Distillates, Methylene Chloride, Xylene, Ethanol and Methyl Ethyl Ketone.
Reports have associated repeated and prolonged overexposure to solvents
with neurological and other physiological damage. Intentional misuse of
this product by deliberately concentrating and inhaling can be harmful
or fatal. For further information, refer to the Material Safety Data
Sheet. This product should not be used frequently or on a regular basis
without properly engineered air control systems designed to prevent

not reuse this container. For OSHA controlled work place and other
regular users - Use only with adequate ventilation under engineered air
control systems designed to prevent exceeding appropriate TLV. For
occasional use, where engineered air control is not feasible, use
properly maintained and properly fitted NIOSH approved respirator for
organic solvent vapors. A dust mask does not provide protection against
vapors. FIRST AID - IF SWALLOWED, do not induce vomiting. Call your
poison control center, hospital emergency room or physician immediately. IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT, immediately
