Description SUP•R•PREP™ is an adhesion promoting primer/sealer for difficult surfaces. It dries fast to a permanent tack. This tack improves the holding power and workability of the wallcovering. Excellent for vinyl-over-vinyl applications.

Prominent Features

» Dries in one hour to a permanent tack
» Excellent for pre-pasted wallcovering
» Dries clear
» Tintable - up to 4 ounces per gallon

Uses Recommended for glass, Formica, tile or any surface where extra adhesion is needed. Compatible with all water or oil/alkyd based products and all ALLPRO® adhesives.

Limitations Not recommended for exterior applications or bare drywall where future strippability is desired. Ready for wallpaper hanging after dry - usually one hour for untinted product. Allow overnight drying if product is tinted.

Surface Preparation Surface must be free from grease and other residues, dry, smooth and structurally sound. Check surfaces for paint bonding, loose wallcoverings, damaged wallboard or plaster by cutting a small X with a sharp knife and attempt removal with a small piece of "Scotch" tape. Repair all unsound surfaces. Before proceeding with any unusual conditions, consult your adhesive or wallcovering supplier.

Application Use only when the room temperature is above 50ºF (10ºC). Apply a full-bodied thin, even coat of primer with a brush, roller, or spraying system. Do not dilute. Suggested settings for airless spray:

Pump: 45:1
Hose: 1/2" I.D.
Tip: .015 or larger
PSI: 2,100

Clean Up Before primer dries, remove the excess with clean water. Brushes and rollers should be cleaned immediately after use with warm, clean water.

Disposal SUP•R•PREP is water based and does not contain organic solvents. Place empty containers in normal refuse for disposal. Contact your local sanitation department or household hazardous waste coordinator for information concerning possible reuse or disposal of unused water based paints, primers or adhesives.
