| Description | Tub
and Tile Adhesive Caulk is made from a special formulation of
elastomeric latex copolymer, combined with silicone and other selected
ingredients. It is bright white in color. It is easy to apply, dries
quickly, will seal up to 1/2" wide openings and may be painted when
dry.
|
| Prominent Features | »
Multi-purpose adhesive caulk » Mildew resistant » Excellent adhesive qualities » Brilliant white » Vacuumized to ensure maximum durability
|
| Uses | For
use on land and sea. Particularly useful for sealing around tubs, wash
stands, showers, doors, windows, fixtures and for sealing loose tiles
and replacing grout.
|
| Limitations | Not
recommended for use underwater. Keep from freezing. Allow to dry
thoroughly, usually 24 hours, before exposing to water.
|
| Surface Preparation | Surfaces
must be firm, dry and free of soap film, mildew, dirt, oil, grease, wax,
loose paint and old caulking material. Rubbing alcohol works well to
prepare tile, porcelain and other surfaces. Household bleach will remove
mildew. Caulk and substrate should be at least 50° F for best
application and cure.
|
| Application | Remove
tip and trim nozzle to desired bead size. Apply evenly, (for best
application control, bend end of tube back over tube to apply caulk).
Smooth bead gently with wet finger and wipe excess with a damp cloth. A
5.5 fluid ounce squeeze tube should be enough for two regular tubs.
Material is tack free in 30 minutes. Allow to dry at least 24 hours
before water exposure.
|
| Clean Up | Clean
up with water immediately after use and before bead is cured on surface.
|
| Disposal | Contains
organic solvents which may cause adverse effects to the environment if
disposed of improperly. Place empty containers in normal refuse
for disposal. Contact your local sanitation department or household
hazardous waste coordinator for information concerning possible reuse or
disposal of unused solvent-containing adhesives and/or sealants.
|
| Limited Warranty | If,
when applied as directed, this material peels, cracks or separates, it
will be replaced without charge upon presentation of proof of purchase
and used cartridge. This limited warranty only applies to residential
use and damages including consequential damage and other remedies are
excluded. No other warranties apply, including fitness for particular
purpose.
