Description Painter's Acrylic Latex Caulk is specially formulated for use with latex and/or oil base paints. Painting not required for longevity. Excellent adhesion to most building materials. Forms a tough - durable and pliable seal. Non-bleeding. Microscopic air has been removed from this product to ensure maximum gunability.

Uses Ideal for interior and/or exterior sealing of windows, doors, corner joints or anywhere long lasting seal is required.

 

Limitations Not suitable for underwater use. Do not apply when rain is expected. Keep from freezing.

 

Surface Preparation Surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, mildew, wax, loose paint or loose wallpaper and old caulking material. When re-caulking remove all old caulking compound.

 

Application Apply with a conventional caulking gun to a primed or unprimed, clean surface. Smooth bead with moistened brush or cloth. Excess material may be removed, before cure, with a moistened cloth. For best results, cured beads should be at least 1/8" wide, but not more than 1/2" wide. If joint exceeds 1/2" in depth use a backup filler before caulking. For best results, apply at temperatures above 50° F (10° C). Do not apply when rain is expected.

 

Clean Up Clean up immediately after use with warm, soapy water.

 

Disposal Contains organic solvents which may cause adverse effects to the environment if disposed of improperly. Place empty containers in normal refuse for disposal. Contact your local sanitation department or household hazardous waste coordinator for information concerning possible reuse or disposal of unused solvent-containing adhesives and/or sealants.

 

Limited Warranty If, when applied as directed, this material peels, cracks or separates within 15 years after application, it will be replaced without charge upon presentation of proof of purchase and used cartridge. This limited warranty only applies to residential use and damages including consequential damage and other remedies are excluded. No other warranties apply, including fitness for particular purpose.

FIRST AID: In case of skin contact, wash off quickly with plenty of soap and water, remove contaminated clothing. For eye contact flush eyes immediately with large quantities of water, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain emergency medical treatment. If swallowed, obtain medical treatment immediately. If inhalation causes physical discomfort, remove to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs, get medical help.
