| Description | ALLPRO GOLD™ Acrylic Urethane Sealant White offers advanced waterborne performance with a lifetime warranty. Ideal for the quality conscious builder because it withstands high shear movement and adheres to the most difficult of surfaces including hardboard siding, pressure treated lumber, bare aluminum, glass and concrete. Withstands 500% elongation with 98% memory and meets the performance requirements of Federal Specification TT-S-00230, Type II, Class A and ASTM C-920 Class 25. Also meets ASTM C-834. |
| Prominent Features |
|
| Uses | For use on wood, metal, brick, masonry, concrete, marble, porcelain, glass and ceramic tile. May be used to bond similar and dissimilar surfaces; such as selective expansion & control joints. Excellent for exterior wood siding, interior crown molding and trim. Ideal for window and door frames, thresholds, woodwork, skylights, eaves, showers, tubs, sinks and vents. Also use around plumbing, for RV use and aboard boats above water line. |
| Limitations | Not intended for underwater use. Do not apply when rain is expected. Not intended for food contact surfaces. Allow new concrete to cure for 30 days before applying material. Keep from freezing. |
| Surface Preparation | Surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, mildew, wax, loose paint or loose wallcovering. When re-caulking, remove all old caulking compound. Lightly sand pre-primed hardboard siding with fine sandpaper to remove any unwanted surface blocking additives that might interfere with the adhesion of this sealant. |
| Application | Apply caulk at surface temperature of at least 50ºF (10ºC) with a conventional caulk gun, to primed or unprimed clean surface. Smooth bead with moistened brush or cloth. For best results, cured beads should be at least 1/8" wide, but not more than 1/2" wide. For joints deeper than 1/2", use back-up filler material (backer-rod) that is 1/8" larger in diameter than the width of the joint to allow for compression. |
| Clean Up | Clean up immediately after use with warm, soapy water. |
| Disposal | Contains organic solvents which may cause adverse effects to the environment if disposed of improperly. Place empty containers in normal refuse for disposal. Contact your local sanitation department or household hazardous waste coordinator for information concerning possible reuse or disposal of unused solvent-containing adhesives and/or sealants. |
| Limited Warranty | If,
when applied as directed, this material peels, cracks or separates after
application, it will be replaced without charge upon presentation of
proof of purchase and used cartridge. This limited warranty only applies
to residential use and damages including consequential damage and other
remedies are excluded. No other warranties apply, including fitness for
particular purpose.
