|
| Surface Preparation |
Surface must be
clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, mildew, wax, loose
paint and old caulking material. Prime bare surfaces before caulking.
Apply only when sealant and surface temperatures are above 50°F (10°C). |
| Application | Apply
only when sealant and surface temperatures are above 50ºF (10ºC). Cut
nozzle at a 45º angle to desired thickness of bead. Apply with a standard
or dripless caulking gun. Use steady pressure to completely fill joints.
For a neat appearance, smooth bead with a moistened finger, brush or cloth.
Remove excess material before cured using a water moistened cloth. For
best results, cured beads should be between 1/8" - 1/2" wide
