Limitations

Do not apply when temperature is below 50°F or when rain is expected. Most high gloss enamels become slippery when wet. To ensure maximum safety on horizontal surfaces, a small amount of sand or pumice may be added to give coating nonskid characteristics. Recommended for spray application, although small areas may be brushed. Not for immersion. Not recommended for floors or for extreme chemical environments. Will yellow under some conditions, especially in interior applications. Can fade in exterior exposures. Not recommended for exterior wood substrates.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free of all wax, oil, grease, dirt, mildew and any other surface contaminants. Dull glossy surfaces prior to painting. Remove all loose and flaking paint. Feather edges to attain a smooth surface. Fill all holes and cracks with suitable patching compound or caulk.

STEEL - Should be clean and have a slight profile. Although primer isn't necessary, additional rust protection can be achieved through the use of either ALLPRO® GuardPro™ PDQ™ Primer or GuardPro™ Universal Primer.
ALUMINUM & GALVANIZED METAL - Wipe with solvent and apply vinyl wash primer.
CONCRETE OR MASONRY - Cure at least 30 days prior to painting. Acid etch or sand-sweep poured or precast concrete.
CONCRETE BLOCK - Fill with 1 coat of a Latex Block Filler.
WOOD - interior wood only, self-primed.
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES - Wash and rinse all surfaces. Dull glossy surfaces and remove sanding dust. Patch holes and cracks. Spot prime bare areas with appropriate primer.
