Uses Used for zone marking of traffic lines on interior and exterior horizontal surfaces.

Limitations Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 40ºF. Do not apply to extremely hot surfaces. Paint only in dry weather. Do not apply to fresh asphalt. Not designed as an anti-slip coating.

Surface Preparation The surface to be coated must be clean and free of dust, grease, wax, rust, oil and bleeding stains. New asphalt or any asphaltic seal coat applied to the surface prior to application of HS Alkyd Zone Marking Paint should be dry for at least 4 days before this marking paint is used. Existing traffic lines can be obliterated on asphalt surfaces by coating with ALLPRO A4521-102 Black HS Alkyd Zone Marking Paint prior to application of the required color. Allow A4521-102 to dry four (4) hours before recoating with required color.

Application May be applied by brush, roller, spray, hand operated or automatic line markers. Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 40ºF. Do not apply to extremely hot surfaces. Stir contents thoroughly from the bottom before using. Paint only in dry weather. Thinning is not normally required. If necessary, thin sparingly with ALLPRO VM&P Naphtha for spray application or ALLPRO Paint Thinner (Mineral Spirits) for brush or roller application. Traffic beads may be dropped into this coating while wet to provide reflectorized markings. If beads are applied, they should be broadcast into the wet paint at a rate of six (6) pounds per gallon of paint.

Clean Up Clean up immediately after use with ALLPRO Paint Thinner. To avoid spontaneous combustion, explosion or flash fires, promptly and safely dispose of used rags, container and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
