| Uses |
ALLPRO® Professional Waterborne X-L Poly Urethane Floor Finish is ideal for use on hardwood floors in commercial applications such as lobbies, offices, hotels, schools, hospitals, shopping malls, auditoriums, gymnasiums and dance floors. The X-L Polyurethane Floor Finishes can be used to finish new or properly prepared old floors |
| Limitations | The recommended finishing system is a sealer coat followed by one or two topcoats. Do not use over wood fillers, shellacs, lacquers or any sealer that contains stearates. Do not use steel wool, as any unremoved fibers will rust after waterborne finishes are applied. Not recommended over white or pastel stained floors, as some yellowing will occur. Low temperature and high humidity conditions will prolong the drying and curing of this material. Keep from freezing. For any recoat application exceeding 8 hrs. Abrade existing coating before continuing with application.NOTE: Although the floor can be subjected to foot traffic after 24 hours, it is vulnerable to scuffing, scraping and marring until a full cure has been achieved. Do not replace scatter rugs and if possible, heavy furniture for seven days. Do not attempt to clean the floor for the first week. |
| Surface Preparation |
New Work:
Remove all dirt, wax, grease and construction contamination. Sand floors
using accepted MFMA or NOFMA methods. On floors to be stained, the final
cut should be made with 80-grit paper followed by 120-screen disc. On
natural floors 100 grit paper and 150-screen disc should be used. CAUTION:
Do not use steel wool, as any unremoved fibers will rust after waterborne
finishes are applied. Vacuum thoroughly and "tack" with a
water dampened rag. |
| Application |
Mixing:
Mix material thoroughly to make certain all ingredients are thoroughly
dispersed. |
| Clean Up | Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soap and water. Rinse well with clean water. Wipe up spills immediately using a damp rag. Dried material is difficult to remove. |
| Disposal | Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. |
