Uses Formulated for use on wood floors in any residential environment including heavy traffic entrance foyers, children's rooms, living rooms and kitchens. It can also be used in offices, lobbies, waiting rooms, vestibules and similar commercial applications
Limitations The recommended finishing system is a sealer coat followed by one or two topcoats. Do not use over wood fillers, shellacs, lacquers or any sealer that contains stearates. Do not use steel wool, as any unremoved fibers will rust after waterborne finishes are applied.
Surface Preparation

New Work: Remove all dirt, wax, grease and construction contamination. Sand floors using accepted MFMA or NOFMA methods. CAUTION: Do not use steel wool, as any unremoved fibers will rust after waterborne finishes are applied. Tack with a water dampened towel.

Old Work: Remove all dirt, wax, grease and other contamination. If existing finish is in poor condition, it should be completely removed by sanding. Do not use Paint and Varnish Remover. Finishes in good condition should be screened with 100 grit screen. NOTE: Solvent borne finishes should be allowed to cure for a minimum of 30 days before attempting to coat over them with Acrylic Urethane Floor Finish.

Over Stains:
Can be applied over most stains including ALLPRO® Q.D. Stain. Apply stains in accordance with manufacturer's directions, allowing the recommended drying time. High humidity, low temperature and/or lack of ventilation will extend the drying time of most stains. Make certain stain is thoroughly dried before attempting to coat. Note: Oil stains will normally require a drying interval of 24 - 48 hours. White, pastel or higher solids, VOC compliant oil based stains should be allowed 48 - 72 hours drying time before coating. It is advisable to test a small area for compatibility before proceeding with the entire job.

Sealer: On uncoated wood floors, a finishing system consisting of one coat of ALLPRO Professional Waterborne Universal Floor Sealer followed by two coats ALLPRO Acrylic Urethane Floor Finish is recommended. Full directions for applying the ALLPRO Universal Floor Sealer can be found on the label or ALLPRO technical bulletin. Allow sealer to dry for 3 hours before recoating.

Application

Mixing & Activating: Mix material thoroughly to make certain all ingredients are thoroughly dispersed. Pour into a clean working container. While stirring, slowly add 2 ounces of ALLPRO Acrylic Urethane Hardness Enhancer - Floor Finish Part B - per gallon. Continue to stir for a minimum of 30 seconds. Allow mixture to stand for 10 - 15 minutes before using. Once activated, ALLPRO Acrylic Urethane Floor Finish has a pot life of 24 hours.

APPLICATION: The surface, material and ambient temperatures should be between 50º F and 95º F for the successful application. Maintain adequate ventilation during the coating and drying process. This helps to speed drying and reduce grain raising.
A flat waterborne applicator or synthetic lamb's wool pad is recommended, although a nylon/polyester brush may also be used. Begin by edging the room with a flat pad applicator or nylon/polyester brush. Then, pour a "trail" of material 3 - 4 inches wide, in the direction of the wood grain and 6 - 8 inches from the floor edge. Pull the finish forward with the applicator at a slight angle. Add more product as necessary to maintain the 4" "trail" of material. Make a "U" turn at the end of the room and squeeze out excess material next to the puddle. Continue to spread and move across the room in an "S" pattern. Maintain a wet edge to avoid lapping. Allow the first coat to dry for 1 - 3 hours then screen with a 120-grit screen. Remove all sanding dust by vacuuming and tack the floor lightly with a dampened towel before proceeding with the second coat. If a third coat is necessary, follow the same inter-coat procedure as for the second coat.

Clean Up Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soap and water. Rinse well with clean water. Wipe up spills immediately using a damp rag. Dried material is difficult to remove.
Disposal Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
