» Dries dust free in 2-4 hours
» Recoatable in 8 hours
» Maximum build, adhesion and toughness
» Outstanding resistance to abrasion

Uses Formulated for use on new or properly prepared previously coated floors and other interior wood surfaces.  Excellent for use on cabinets, trim and bar tops.
Limitations The recommended finishing system is a sealer coat followed by one or two topcoats. Do not use Professional Floor Finish Polyurethane Varnish over wood fillers, shellacs, lacquers or any sealer that contains stearates.
Surface Preparation

NEW WORK: The surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease, wax and other surface contamination. Sand as necessary, removing all sanding dust with a tack cloth.

OLD WORK: Remove old wax by cleaning with a commercial wax stripper or abrading with 000 steel wool that has been saturated with denatured alcohol.  While wet, wipe dry with a clean cloth.  Repeat if necessary until all wax residue has been removed.  NOTE:  It is very difficult to remove all traces of old wax.  when recoating waxed floors, it is generally preferred to remove all the old finish to bare wood.  Glossy finishes must be dulled by sanding prior to the application of the Professional Floor Finish Polyurethane Varnish.  Use 120 Grit Sanding Screen.

OLD WORK TO BE STAINED: If wood is to be stained, all old paint and varnish must be removed to bare wood. Make sure that surface is free from contamination. Sand smooth and remove all sanding dust using a tack cloth. Make sure the surface is dry and proceed as with new work.

STAINING / SEALING: Apply ALLPRO® Q.D. Stain and ALLPRO® Professional Floor Finish Polyurethane Sanding Sealer as directed by the specific ALLPRO® technical bulletins prior to finishing. Top coat with one or two coats of ALLPRO®  Professional Floor Finish Polyurethane Varnish of the gloss/sheen of choice.

Application Stir Satin and Semi-gloss gently.  Gloss does not require stirring. DO NOT SHAKE any Professional Finish Polyurethane Varnish or Sanding Sealer. Apply with a clean, soft natural bristle brush or short-nap woven or lambswool applicator.  May also be applied by spray gun using the following recommended settings

Conventional Spray settings @ 77ºF:
Fluid Pressure: 10 - 15 psi
Atomization Pressure: 30 - 40 psi

Airless Spray settings @ 77º:
Tip Size: 209 - 211
Atomization Pressure: 1000-1500 psi

Apply one or two coats over sealed surface depending on the severity of wear anticipated.  Sand lightly between coats using 120 Grit Sanding Screen or buff with 000 Steel Wool.  DO NOT APPLY WHEN SURFACE, AMBIENT OR MATERIAL TEMPERATURES ARE BELOW 50°F.

Thinning is not recommended.  Thinning of this material will result in the VOC level of this product exceeding the limit permitted under EPA AIM Coatings Rule.
