| Uses | ALLPRO®
POLYURETHANE CLEAR SANDING SEALER is Ideal for use in residential, commercial,
office, institutional and light duty industrial applications. Perfect
for wood floors, trim, paneling, doors, bar-tops or cabinets. Can be used
on bar wood and over most wood stains. |
| Limitations |
Do not tint. Thinning
is not advised. Do not use over paste wood fillers containing stereates.
DO NOT apply at temperatures below 50ºF. Not recommended for exterior
applications. |
| Surface Preparation | Surface
to be coated must be clean, sound, dry and free of rust, grease, oil,
mildew and loose particles prior to application. Old paint films should
be removed with a varnish remover. Residue of varnish remover should be
cleaned off with mineral spirits. Old paint may also be removed by a sanding
machine but care should be taken to remove all dust using an ALLPRO Tack
Cloth. Stain wood before sealing if desired. Open
grained woods may require the use of a stearate-free paste wood filler. |
| Application | Mix
thoroughly. Thinning is not advised. Apply a generous coat with brush,
roller, sprayer, mop or wax applicator. Use a clean natural brush or short
nap, mohair type, roller cover. When spraying, follow equipment manufacturer's
directions regarding top size and spray pressure. Before beginning to
spray, be sure spray equipment is clean and properly functioning. Apply
across the wood grain and then with the wood grain to ensure complete
coverage. Allow a minimum of 8 hours drying time before sanding or top
coating. For best results, sand lightly with fine sandpaper before applying
finish coat. Remove sanding dust with an ALLPRO tack cloth. |
| Clean Up | Clean
up spills and spatters immediately. Clean painting tools with mineral
spirits. Follow manufacturer's recommendations for thorough spray equipment
maintenance. |
| Disposal | Contains
organic solvents which may cause adverse effects to the environment if
disposed of improperly. Place empty containers in normal refuse
for disposal. Contact your local sanitation department or household hazardous
waste coordinator for information concerning possible reuse or disposal
of unused solvent-containing adhesives and/or sealants.

If inhalation causes physical discomfort, remove to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs, get medical help.
