Description 100% active polyfunctional aziridine liquid crosslinker.  For industrial use in ALLPRO Acrylic Urethane Waterborne Varnishes where there is a need to improve the water, chemical, abrasion and humidity resistance on surfaces such as table tops and high traffic floors.

Uses For use in ALLPRO Acrylic Urethane Waterborne Varnishes.

 

Limitations Will slowly hydrolyze in waterborne systems and should be used within 1-3 days after preparation. Hydrolyzed hardener has no adverse effect on either the Acrylic Urethane resin or dried film properties.  Film hardness may suffer as the deactivated crosslinker acts to plasticize the film.  A 2/1 or 3/1 blend of fresh to aged formula is recommended before re-inoculation with the hardness enhancer at the original amount to maintain formula consistency. 

 

Application Add between 1 and 2 ounces per gallon based on application need. Add slowly while stirring.  Eye protection, gloves and suitable clothing must be worn to avoid contact with skin and eyes. Mix thoroughly and avoid over shaking.
Clean Up Clean up with warm water. A small amount of acetic acid or a mineral acid may be added to the water to improve the speed of clean up.
Disposal Discarded product is not hazardous waste under RCRA, but may be regulated by other jurisdictions.  Incinerate in approved facility.  Do not incinerate in closed container. Dilute with clean, low viscosity fuel. Untreated material should not be released to the environment. Empty container retains potentially hazardous residue. Observe all hazard precautions. May contain corrosive material. Remove all product residue from container and puncture or otherwise destroy empty container before disposal.
