Uses

ALLPRO® Concrete Floor Sealer seals and protects your concrete floor from the damaging effects of water penetration.  It penetrates the concrete and forms a protective coating that is excellent for surfaces exposed to light vehicle traffic and the effects of weather and the elements, such as garages, shop floors, warehouse floors, etc.

Limitations

Use on above grade surfaces only.  Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours or if temperatures fall below 55˚F within 24 hours of application.  For increased safety, add a clear non-slip additive before application. Keep from freezing.

Do not use on asphalt, clay pavers or other non-porous surfaces.  Do not apply to painted or stained concrete, or to concrete less than 30 days old. Do not apply with a sponge roller, sponge brush or hand-pump sprayer.

ALLPRO Concrete Floor Sealer is not resistant to all chemicals.  Some vehicle tires may contain chemicals that could, under certain circumstances, cause the sealer to debond if vehicle sits for extended periods, or may leave hot tire marks.  Most hot tire marks can be removed with a cleaner/degreaser.
Surface Preparation

The critical factor in achieving a lasting finish is surface preparation.  Surface must be clean, dry and oil-free.  Use a degreaser to remove oil stains. Thoroughly remove all curing compounds and releasing agents.  Power washing is recommended.  Repair all cracks and surface breaks.  Cover windows, doors, etc. prior to application.  Use caution when applying on windy days.

For new or smooth concrete, acid etching and neutralization are required for proper adhesion.  Use a 1:3 solution of muriatic acid and water or a prepared etcher, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.  Newly etched surfaces must be neutralized before sealing.
Application

Read all directions thoroughly. Wear gloves and eye protection.  New concrete must have cured for 30 days prior to application.  DO NOT SHAKE.  ALLPRO® Concete Floor Sealer is ready to use; do not dilute. Note: Sealer appears milky white during application but dries to a clear satin to semi-gloss finish.

Garden Sprayer: lightly spray surface with a fan-tip spray pattern, then backroll to ensure penetration and prevent puddling.  Remove overspray immediately with water.

Roller: dampen a short-nap (1/4” – 3/8”) roller with water, remove excess, then saturate with sealer.  Roll onto surface keeping a wet edge to avoid streaks.  Do not allow to puddle, foam or run.

Clean Up/Storage Clean all tools immediate after use with soap & water.  Store unused product in a dry place above 50ºF.  Do not use solvent-based cleaners on surface; clean occasionally with a mild soap and water solution.
