FIRE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Dry chemical, foam, water fog, carbon
dioxide.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Keep this product away from heat
sparks, flame, and other sources of ignition. Keep containers closed
when not in use. Closed containers may burst when exposed to extreme
heat or fire. Toxic gases may form when product is exposed to extreme
heat. Product may decompose under fire.
FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Water may be used to cool and protect
exposed containers. Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Water may
be ineffective in extinguishing a paint fire. Stream of water may
spread the flame. If water is used, fog nozzles are preferable.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION OR COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Carbon monoxide,
carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, oxygen, peroxides, aldehydes,
acids, unidentified organic compounds.
SECTION V - HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
INHALATION: If affected, remove to fresh air. If breathing stops,
give artificial respiration. Administer oxygen if available. Get
immediate medical assistance.
SKIN CONTACT: Flush immediately with plenty of water followed by
washing with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash
contaminated clothing before reuse. If irritation occurs, consult a
physician.
EYE CONTACT: Flush immediately with large amounts of water,
especially under lids for at least 15 minutes. If irritation or other
effects persist, obtain medical assistance.
INGESTION: If swallowed obtain medical assistance immediately.
PRIMARY ROUTE(S) OF EXPOSURE: Inhalation, skin contact, eye contact
ingestion, depending on conditions of use. To minimize exposure,
follow recommendations for proper use, handling, ventilation, and
personal protective equipment.
EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:
INHALATION: Irritation of respiratory tract. Prolonged inhalation may
lead to fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness and/or lightheadedness,
headache, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, chest
pain, coughing, sneezing, difficulty with speech, central nervous
system depression, metallic taste, confusion, difficulty of breathing,
blood abnormalities, tremors, severe respiratory tract irritation,
severe lung irritation or burns, liver damage, kidney damage,
neurotoxicity. Sanding dust inhalation may cause lung damage.
SKIN CONTACT: Irritation of skin. Prolonged or repeated contact can
cause dermatitis, defatting, allergic response, severe skin irritation
or burns. Possible sensitization of skin. Skin contact may result in
dermal absorption of component(s) of this product which may cause
fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness and/or lightheadedness, headache, loss
of coordination, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, central nervous system
depression, blood abnormalities, liver damage, kidney damage.
EYE CONTACT: Irritation of eyes. Prolonged or repeated contact can
cause conjunctivitis, tearing of eyes, redness of eyes, severe eye
irritation or burns, corneal injury.
INGESTION: Ingestion may cause lung inflammation and damage due to
aspiration of material into lungs, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness
and/or lightheadedness, headache, loss of coordination, nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea, gastro-intestinal, disturbances, abdominal pain,
central nervous system depression, blood abnormalities, burns of
themouth, throat, stomach, liver damage, kidney damage, pulmonary
edema.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS PRONE TO AGGRAVATION BY EXPOSURE: None generally
expected when recommendations for proper use, handling, ventilation,
and personal protective equipment are followed.

MATERIALS TO AVOID: Oxidizers, acids, bases, amines, ammonium salts,
metals, nitric acid, magnesium, lewis acids, caustics, mineral acids.
CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Elevated temperatures, contact with oxidizing
agent, sparks, open flame, ignition sources. Freezing.
SECTION VII - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:
Eliminate all sources of ignition. Ventilate area. Avoid breathing
vapors. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Use
self-contained breathing apparatus if necessary. Contain spill and
remove with inert absorbent. Use non-sparking tools. Use proper
containers. Prevent material from entering sewers, natural ways, or
soil.
WASTE DISPOSAL: Dispose in accordance with all applicable local,
county, state, and federal regulations. Do not incinerate closed
containers. If necessary, use only a licensed disposal firm/facility.

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN USE: Use only with adequate
ventilation. Avoid breathing vapor and spray mist. Avoid contact with
skin and eyes. Wash hands after using.
Product may contain substances classified as nuisance particulates
that may be at hazardous levels only during sanding or abrading of the
dried film.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: If personal exposure cannot be controlled
below applicable limits by ventilation, wear an appropriate properly
fitted organic vapor/particulate respirator approved by NIOSH/MSHA
(Canadian z94.4).
When sanding or abrading a dried film, wear a dust/mist respirator
approved by NIOSH/MSHA (Canadian z94.4) for dust which may be
generated from this product, the underlying product, or the abrasive.
VENTILATION: Provide dilution ventilation or local exhaust to
maintain the level of vapors and dust below the applicable limits.
Use only non-sparking explosion-proof equipment. Discharge exhaust
only in area away from ignition sources.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Splash goggles or safety glasses with
side shields, impervious gloves, impervious clothing, chemical
resistant boots for spill clean up.
HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Wash clothing before reuse. Wash hands before
eating, smoking, or using washroom.

represents in the environment in which it is used.

SECTION IX - HANDLING & STORAGE/SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
HANDLING AND STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area
Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Keep from freezing. Keep
containers tightly closed and upright when not in use. Do not puncture
nor re-use containers. Transfer only to approved containers with
complete and appropriate labeling. Containers should be grounded when
pouring.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Use only with adequate ventilation. Use appropriate
respiratory protection. Do not take internally. Keep out of reach of
children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing of vapors,
spray mist, or sanding dust. Empty containers may contain hazardous
residues. Wash hands thoroughly after handling, especially before
eating or smoking. If this product is part of a multiple component
system, the resulting mixture may have the hazards of all of its
parts.

As of the date of this MSDS, all of the components in this product are
listed (or are otherwise exempt from listing) on the TSCA inventory.
This MSDS complies with OSHA hazard communication standard 29 CFR
1910.1200.
